How fortunate to have grown up in Durand Illinois and to have the opportunity to participated as a Bulldog in so many different sports. Last October Steve, Mark and I visited with Milt and Marlene Truesdale in Rockford, Sid and Betty Felder in Freeport,Sherry Meinert at Durand Town Hall, and Deb Seyler with the Durand High School Library. The driving force was to assemble a scrapbook of sports at Durand High during the tenure of Sid and Milt. These were record setting days. This composition clearly demonstrates my editorial weaknesses. Mike Waller will certainly drop me as the associate editor for the class of 1959. However, I hope the efforts convey to Sid and Milt our gratitude for their contributions to Durand High. We were lucky to have been coached by them.
